We will be using natural dyes & fresh flowers to dye 8mm habotai silk bandanas (21x21"). This course will be an introduction to natural dyes using a steaming method called "bundle dyeing" where we will make a watercolor type wash of color across the fabric through the process of steaming. We will also briefly go over how to pre-treat fabrics to help plant dyes adhere as permanently as possible & a pamphlet on how to pre-treat fabrics will be gifted to each attendee.
