Cyanotypes or “Sun-Printing"

$15.00

The Cyanotype or "sun printing" workshop, starts at 10 a.m., and will run for 90 minutes. This 90 minutes will include instruction and work time. There is no minimum occupancy, and the class maximum is 12. Cyanotypes are a creative, easy way to print using the sun and natural materials, like tumeric or avacado skins, for a variety of results. In this workshop, we will discuss a brief history of cyanotypes, as well as different processes and tools for various effects and outcomes. 

Local artist, Wibs McFeely will run this workshop. Wibs runs North Hills Art Studio. Originally from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania; Wibs studied Fine Arts/Art History at Chatham College before moving out West. After teaching K-8th grade art at a private school in Northern Colorado, and running summer camps for children for over 13 years; she now teaches art classes year round at North Hills Art Studio.
