Creative Writing

$15.00

During this workshop, we will explore the sonic and sensory elements of language. We’ll dig into the sensations of touch and sound, take a look at etymology and figurative language, and use close looking to open up unexpected opportunities in our writing. We will make daybooks ("book for recording events and transactions of the day," 1570s, from day (n.) + book (n.)) and use the materials from our time together to write creatively.  Please bring a small object of your choice to the workshop.
