      <image:title>LPAC Executive Committee - Beck Herman - Treasurer</image:title>
<image:caption>Beck (he/they) is an aspiring CPA and accountant at a local non-profit who has called Laramie home since 2020. He earned his Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Master of Business Administration from the University of Wyoming, where he founded the UW Chess Club and currently serves as an advisor. Beck’s financial background brings a strong focus on financial strategy and budget management to his role as Treasurer. Outside of work, Beck enjoys reading fantasy novels, especially those by Brandon Sanderson who writes: “Perhaps the question isn’t ‘What use is art?’ Perhaps even that simple question misses the point. It’s like asking the use of having hands, or walking upright, or growing hair. Art is part of us… It exists because on some fundamental level we need it. Art exists to be made.”</image:caption>

<image:caption>Despite being a born and raised Mississippian, Arya is proud to call Wyoming home. During her first trip to Laramie she was amazed at the kindness of the city’s residents and the gorgeous and vibrant murals in the downtown area. Those two things sold her and she moved to Laramie just three months later. Now, she wants to give back to Laramie by connecting community and art at LPAC.</image:caption>
